I’ve had a challenging summer. Mentally.

A couple of months ago, I concluded my full-time acting training program at Tisch and cold-plunged into the “working” actors' abyss. The structure, inspiration, and community of my program were replaced with the isolated experience of auditioning.

I realized my feeling of isolation may have been somewhat self-induced. I’ve been operating as if my most immediate community of friends and collaborators isn’t made up of artists who may, in fact, share similar thoughts—or have different perspectives altogether, with the potential of broadening my own.
